Adventure Activities Included at El Laurel:

High Ropes Course: (canopy, pamper pole, teeter totter, climbing wall): to develop personal efficacy.

Low Ropes Course: to facilitate planning, effective communication, trust and commitment among team members.

Ground Level Initiatives: this is a physical obstacle course to develop skills to work in teams and achieve goals.

Hikes and Expeditions: to develop tenacity, unity and support among the team members.

Camping: in the woods to establish contact with nature, personal organization and fellowship.

Solo: to facilitate reflection and self-discovery.

These activities enhance effective interpersonal communication, democratic values, the search consensus in decision making, problem solving in groups and the effective solution of conflicts among other things.
